Using Powdered Herbs and veggies

Nope, not like that, but you be you

General Rules

Flavor Intensity

A beefsteak tomato reduced to the size of a dime is going to pack way more punch to your brunch, tablespoon for tablespoon. That's why our method of bringing nutritious garden-fresh produce to your pantry is  not only a super storage saver, but incredibly delicious!  You can adjust flavor intensity by slowly by adding water or other liquid ingredients incrementally. Most important part of using powders is TASTE AS YOU GO.

All of our powders are pure and straight from the garden.  No added anything.  Therefore, if things taste too bitter, add a small amount of sweetness: sugar or honey or agave. If things taste too sweet, add an acid: lemon, vinegar, your rebelling teenager's tears.

Using a POWDER AS YOUR DISH (i.e. Tomato Sauce, Celery Soup)

Start with 1:1. If you don't like the consistency or the flavor is too intense, add more water or other liquid. We find that, in a lot of dishes, it's more like 1 powder to 2 liquid delivers bad-ass results. Remember, you are the boss of your recipes.

Using as a PROMINATE, but not Master of the Universe, Flavor in Recipes

Assuming a recipe for 4, add 1 tablespoon to start.  Taste along the way. Recipes are just suggestions, tailor to your taste.

Using as an UNDERTONE flavor

Definitely, 1/2 teaspoon of every powder we offer :-) add 4 cups of broth and that would be a delicious, nutritious, super calafragalistic soup. Add pasta, beans, and/or meat at will.  You're the boss.

In addition, it's a great way to sneak those awesome veggies into any dish.

Using Powder MIXES

General Rule: 1 Powder to 2 Liquid. 1/4 Cup Powder to 1/2 cup liquid creates a great single serving, great for lunch on the go.  If you are Netflex and Chillin', double that and don't forget the Bloody Mary mix to spice thing up! (3tsp powder to 1/2 cup of water + vodka, if using).

Moringa and Kale

Ahhh, the two garden POWER houses of nutrition. Add 1 tsp to ANYTHING and it will boost nutrition without anyone noticing.
